I have been working with clay since high school, but it was only when I encountered ceramics at university that I fell in love with its magic. The multitude of artistic expressions it offers, and the possibilities it invites us to explore, extend beyond the limits of a human lifetime. Color, form, imagination, spontaneity. Ceramics offers infinite possibilities with every work I create, with every gesture I entrust to the fire, and with every spectacle that Raku firings reveal

“Lothlóriene” describes a place apart, a magical place where ten distinct characters appear, standing for the ten years of the camp. Each character carries the mark of one year, of the changes and experiences gathered side by side, around the magical kilns.

The series of boats called “Journey” brings to mind each person’s journey, the way we travel, close to and alongside whoever or whatever we wish to be. It brings to mind the many journeys we make, in the mind and/or in the body. We are anchored in long and short journeys, green and blue, ugly and beautiful, small and large.
